(BUG SCIENTIST)
CATCH A LIGHTNING BUG & STUDY ITS BEHAVIOR

Tools Needed

Jar
Nail
Hammer
Pencil

STEPS

Find a jar with a lid and have your parents help you punch small holes in the top using a hammer and nail, if you don't have a lid you can use plastic wrap

The holes in the lid is so the fireflies have enough air.

Place a few leaves in the bottom of the jar to resemble their surroundings

Catch the lightening bugs either with your hands or with the jar.

Observe your fireflies in the jar for a short period of time write down your findings, then release.
